For one of our trusted clients we are currently looking for: 1st/2nd level IT Support

Job Purpose:
Our team of Configuration Specialists, which works specifically with one of our company’s products – a cloud-based solution for research management – is looking for a talented person to join the team.
The daily duties of the team include support for the different client platforms (e.g. fixing bugs in the platform; building menus and pages; configuring the logic/process in the platform; testing; communicating with the team (80%) and the clients (20%); and performing data manipulation in MS Excel). Please note that there is no programming involved as we have a separate tech team that writes the code for the platform – our Configuration Specialists use the already built preset of options (e.g. pages, buttons, templates) to configure the platform.
Because our platform is unique, we provide intensive training to our new employees. Our ideal new team member must have, however, at least some experience in working with software applications (ERP or web sites), and preferably dealing with software support, QA, or customer service in English. Strong knowledge of MS Excel and data manipulation will also be considerate as a plus. Candidates with such experience will have an advantage over those that do not.
Specific Tasks: 
 Support the Configuration Experts Team and the Client Managers on a daily basis
Communicate to Configuration Experts and Client Managers via email/Skype/phone
Customize the platform according to instructions
Perform quality assurance and system testing
Communicate to the tech department and report errors in the application
Prepare and customize reports in MS Excel
Perform data mining and data manipulation in MS Excel
Participate in the development of, and provide feedback on, new application functionality
Job Requirements:
University background in either Business Administration, IT, Software Engineering, Economics, or relevant experience/certificate in the field
Excellent verbal and written English language skills
At least some previous experience in working with software applications (ERP or web sites)
At least some previous experience in software support, QA, or customer support in English
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, and experience in data manipulation using complex formulas
Ability to work within an international team across different time zones
Ability to work flexible hours and/or from home if needed
Ability to learn new software quickly; critical/logical thinking; and teamwork
