Technical Project Manager


                                                                              
For one of trusted clients - an international leading supplier of service management infrastructure for the delivery of Pay TV services over managed and unmanaged networks, to managed or unmanaged devices - we are looking to hire Technical Project Manager.
The role requires middle to senior level professional who will join the team of technical project managers. Initially the position will intend to cover two roles: Technical Project Manager and Service Management Owner in 50% time split. Midterm the candidate will be able to influence the direction he prefers to be focused in.


Key Responsibilities: 

• Encompassing pre-sales support through post-sale implementation.
• Interfacing with all levels of management and non-management stake holders both internally and with prospect / client organizations to facilitate decisions negotiate timelines and deliverables, overcome obstacles, and ensure that expectations are understood and properly managed.
• Primary interface to customer to manage schedule, scope, resources, issues, and priorities.
• Project management, troubleshooting and problem solving new client deployments from contract signature to steady state performance within target timelines, and managing the deployment of associated service revenue performance applications.
• Facilitate and participate in strengthening business relationships with customers.
• Preparing and managing project and program documentations including but not only writing project charters, project plans, project change orders, statements of work, status reports and other collateral following established delivery practices. 
• Translates terminology between technical and non-technical staffs.
• Manage internal professional services portfolio and software development. 
• Work with internal organizations and customers to extraction, understand, define and document requirements, business logic and service offering and convert them into development specifications.
• Schedule and lead design, review, status and stand-up meetings.
• Create presentations, service descriptions, on-boarding guides and etc. both internal and customer facing to support adoption and sales and delivery of tools and practices.
• Coordinate and lead resources (non direct reports ) through execution by applying management and leadership practices and methodologies. 


Requirements:

• 5+ years in customer project management of large-scale field deployments. 
• Project management principles, methodologies, processes and tools. 
• ITIL principles and processes knowledge.
• Understanding of software development methodologies, process and tool with focus on Agile.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Outstanding organization skills, ability to prioritize, plan and organize under pressure. 
• Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
• Sophisticated customer management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to pinpoint customer requirements and clearly articulate those to others.
• Understanding of client-server, layered, monolithic, microservices and etc. software architectures will be considered a plus. 
• Ability to travel internationally extensively. 
• Technical depth in one or more of the following: service management platforms, IPTV middleware, IP networking, Connected TV Devices, Web-based client/server applications.
• Ability to create systematic and consistent requirement specifications in the form of stories.
• Ability to take a leading and decision-making role in the direction of the detailed technical product components.
• Previous experience in software automation domain and scripting experience a must. 
• Experience with multiple servers infrastructure.
• Solid foundation in Linux administration and troubleshooting.


Optional:

• Experience in PayTV industry and understanding of IPTV and OTT is a strong advantage. 
• Possession of PMP and/or ITSM certificate will be considered as advantage.
• Electronics or Software Engineering degree. 
• Previous service delivery experience with focus on service transition and operation will be considered as advantage.
• (Previous) Hands-on experience with linux based OS strong plus.
• Telco/Carriers/Software development experience.
