On behalf of a client, we are looking for an IT Support Specialist located in Sofia.

Purpose of the role:
This position's primary role is to provide technical support to internal staff over the phone, through email and in person as well as desktop imaging, provisioning of new systems, installing software, managing assets and.
This includes troubleshooting, answering questions about software application, working with other Technology Services Team Members to escalate and resolve complex issues. Integral to the role is being able to provide this technical support to our customers with the highest possible level of customer service.

Key tasks:

• Work closely with customers to troubleshoot and resolve requests or problems associated with, software, and network access
• Monitor the status of open calls and act as the customer’s advocate to ensure calls are resolved promptly
• Conduct Computing training classes for new employees
• Maintain logs and records of Help Desk calls per established procedure
• Document problem resolutions to build an internal Knowledgebase per established procedures
• Proactively identify and complete projects that add value to the department and/or our customers
• Perform other duties and activities as assigned, or as responsibilities dictate
Required skills:

• 1-4 years of experience as an Application support specialist
• Planning & organizing (ability to prioritize, plan, assign & control);
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems without direct supervision
• Pro-active oriented and target driven;
• Ability to work and understand different kind of cultures and people;

Language requirements:

• English (B2 / C1);
IT Knowledge required:

• Very good knowledge for Windows systems (Win7, Win10, MS-Office);
• HTML and CSS knowledge
• Familiar with Ticket systems, standard IT documentation tools for flow charts and statistics;
• Knowledge in scripting, and/or programming in general would be an advantage;
• Familiar with database systems would be also an advantage.
