Team Leader, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

For one of our trusted partners- a leading manufacturing company, we are searching for
Team Leader, Accounts Payable & Receivable to join the setting-up of their Finance Shared Service Center in Bulgaria. 

This person will be involved in process migration, SOP's setter and quality control functions at the beginning and will manage a team of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable specialists.  

Main job responsibilities:
· Co -ordinate the resolution of issues & act as an escalation point removing obstacles and achieving positive outcomes in the services provided by the SSC;
· Create action plans based on ongoing feedback from the countries;
· Responsible for supervising day-to-day activities for Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Team ensuring accurate and timely supplier and customer payments and proper reconciliations;
· Be a role model by working and living the company values;
· Ensure Accounts payable and Accounts receivable year-end closing procedures are completed efficiently, accurately and timely;
· Assist with new process, procedures and operating improvement implementations;
· Adhere policies regarding payment;
· Archive and filing of documents in line with Country legislation;
· Follow up on Service Level Agreement for the SSC and implement corrective measures when necessary;
· Measure KPI’s to assess team performance and report achievements or deficiencies; 
· Manage a team, being responsible for all aspects of their development, performance and workload;
· Primary point of contact for Country/Group Functions for complex issues.

Requirements for this position: 
· Previous working experience in international environment, preferably in Finance Shared Service Centers;
· Very good understanding of accounting processes and transactions;
· Liaising with tax, compliance, finance and others to ensure capture of required data within system;
· Communicates and cooperates effectively with suppliers, sales units and finance department in the countries;
· Leadership and team building skills;
· Strong managerial experience and a track record of driving change;
· Effectively communicates relevant projects information to superiors;
· Strong accounts payable and accounts receivable experience;
· Excellent time management with the ability to priorities tasks;
· Fluent in English (German or French is an advantage).
