For one of our trusted clients, a leading French manufacturing company we are now looking for ambitious and motivated professionals to work as a Buyer, Procurement Service Line
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
As responsible for procure-to-pay process effectiveness, the Buyer will have the following specific responsibilities:
Process all purchase orders (e.g., pricing, delivery, payment terms)
Manage day-to-day interaction with suppliers: ordering, communication of demand/volume/delivery time changes, issue resolution, follow up on backorders
Process purchase orders of assigned spend categories in terms of delivery and invoice accuracy
Ensure internal customers are complying with contracts and using preferred suppliers with contracted pricing. Perform periodic audits of automated Purchase Orders
Uphold internal and external policies, regulations and laws
Meet agreed SLA and KPI targets
Monitor and report on Noncompliance
Forward queries to plants in a timely and efficient manner
QUALIFICATIONS
University degree in Supply chain is a plus
Fluent English and French/Spanish
+1 year purchasing experience
Comprehensive knowledge of purchasing and a basic understanding of the materials and supply chain management functions
Good understanding of the end-to-end procure to pay process
Experience with ERP system-JD Edwards is a plus
Advanced Excel skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills
Good Presentation skills
