Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst your role is to analyze information inside and outside the company, in order to structure it, make it more reliable, and adapt it to changes in the group and its market. As an information flow and business expert, you position yourself as the interface between the company's functional/operational departments and IT BI teams. As a result, you provide, through reporting and/or structured analyzes, the information necessary for operational and strategic decision-making.

Main activities:
 
  • Ensure the consistency and reliability of statistical and financial data by controlling them and adapting their definitions to changes in the business and its environment.
  • Work collaboratively, with IT BI teams and functional departments to support business projects as a functional expert.
  • Train operational teams and functional departments in the use and content of BI tools, ensure the maintenance and consistency of the KPIs repository.
  • Analyze all the value creation sub-processes in the company in order to identify areas for improvement to be implemented (commercial activity, candidates, etc.) and propose analyzes.
  • Participate in strategic and development thinking of the company through cross-functional analyzes combining financial and non-financial, internal and/or external indicators.
  • Ensure the definition of the tools necessary for the deployment and monitoring of the company's strategic orientations, or operational priorities.
  • Structure external data (Market, competitors, etc.) in our systems, ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Adapt the scope of external data according to market developments, via an active monitoring approach.
  • Develop solutions to use external information visually (cartographic analysis) and support the operational teams in the use of this information.


Skills required:
 
  • Experience in financial/business analysis and reporting
  • Mastery of operational processes and company information systems
  • Strong ability to structure and analyze statistical and financial data
  • Project management methodology
  • In-depth knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis or data science
  • Curiosity, creativity, responsiveness, interpersonal skills
  • Equivalent Bachelor’s/Master’s degree
