Data Engineer / Analyst

On behalf of one of our trusted clients we are currently looking for a Data Engineer / Analyst .
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Extract, combine, transform data from raw data sources (MS SQL and Oracle) and convert it into structured, organized and comprehensive datasets
• Prepare data for core analytics and reports
• Develop and maintain databases and queries to ensure data used in daily operations is accurate and compliant, according to the company policies and regulations
• Develop structured data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization
• Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues
• Combine raw information from different sources and prepare data for credit risk modeling
REQUIREMENTS:
• Around 2-3 years proven experience in a technically-oriented role using SQL
• Experience in working with complex structured and unstructured data sets
• Analytical abilities including strong ability to query/gather, segment, analyze, leverage database information using SQL
• Ability to work independently and with other groups in a professional manner
• Problem-solving skills and strong attention to details
• Strong organizational and time management skills
CONSIDERED AS A PLUS:
• University degree in IT or Mathematics
• Advanced knowledge of Power BI or any other business intelligence tool
