DevOps engineer
For one of our trusted clients - an international leading supplier of service management infrastructure for the delivery of Pay TV services over managed and unmanaged networks, to managed or unmanaged devices - we are looking to hire a DevOps Engineer who will play an integral role in the development of innovative applications for the IPTV industry.
As a member of the Engineering Team, he/she will be involved in the implementation, and maintenance of the product suite, it is an open, standards-based IPTV middleware solution deployed by more than 300 operators worldwide, and is based on a variety of enterprise-class technologies.
Technical Knowledge:
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role
• Continuous Integration experience using Jenkins
• Experience with Kubernetes deployment and configuration
• Strong experience managing Git
• Experience with building Docker images
• Experience with GitOps and Kustomize
• Experience with Amazon cloud and AWS is a plus
• Experience with micro services and continuous deployment is a plus
• Strong scripting and automation skills including shell and one or more Perl, Python or similar language
• Knowledge of Issue tracking systems (JIRA is a plus)
• Expertise with software deployment tools (Puppet, Ansible or similar)
• Experience with Kafka and Strimzi is a plus.

Responsibilities:
• CI. Build, Test and deployment automation
• Perform all build release and configuration management and implement best practices for branching/merging/tagging and patch handling
• Manage source code repositories and implement change control processes
• Work in an Agile development cycle, communicate and coordinate build schedules between teams
• Ensure reproducibility and traceability of all deliverables
• Develop, improve and document automated build processes and procedures
• CD. Support automated deployments to Development, QA, Staging and Production environments
• Work closely with Operations team by supporting production releases.
