Purchasing Specialist

For one of our trusted clients-leader in the aircraft industry, we are now looking for ambitious and motivated professionals to work as Purchasing Specialists.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Worldwide sourcing and negotiating order specific conditions
• Plan and schedule material needs aiming inventory optimization
• Process and validate Purchase Requisitions and Purchase orders
• Manage day-to-day interaction with suppliers: ordering, communication of demand/volume/delivery time changes, issue resolution, follow up on backorders
• Act as 1st line of contact with organization via calls, chat e.g. document and follow up all purchasing inquiries, issues and transactions
• Responsible for resolving queries from suppliers or colleagues
QUALIFICATIONS
• University degree
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Experience with SAP is a plus
• Willingness to learn new things
• Good Excel skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills
