MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST
Mission Statement:
The Maintenance Specialist supports the Plant Operations teams in achieving their reliability objectives in an optimized maintenance cost frame. His scope of intervention comprises routine, planned maintenance, corrective and predictive maintenance, as well as troubleshooting, for a defined technical domain.
Responsibility, accountability:
The Maintenance Specialist is responsible within his technical domain for:
- Coordination of planned maintenance, Instrumentation, Electrical installations, Rotating equipment and Mechanical.
- Supporting deployment of maintenance standard within Operations’ team
• Planned maintenance:
- Developing maintenance plan and job plans to be uploaded in the internal system
- Identifying necessary spare parts and defining relevant reordering levels
- Establishing appropriate contracts with maintenance critical suppliers
- Participating to the reliability assessments performed in the frame of vulnerability studies, and to the related prioritization of critical spare parts
• Corrective maintenance:
- Supporting Operations for troubleshooting, with a high reactiveness.
- Providing his expertise for the incident capitalization
• Supplier networking:
- Developing his network within the suppliers but also alternative suppliers
Required competences:
• Required knowledge:
- Graduated engineering degree or equivalent,
- Has a deep knowledge of maintenance methods within his domain, with a minimum of 3 years experience in the concerned technical domain
- Has deep knowledge of applicable regulatory, IMS and other recognized technical standards in his technical domain
- Very good level in English
• Behavioral skills:
- Communicates well verbally and in writing
- Positively influences and obtains cooperation from others
- Contributes to a good communication climate within industrial and operations teams
- Considers all valuable inputs from the organization to form his/her assessment
