The Adecco Group in Bulgaria is powered by the brands of Adecco and Modis. Now we expand our operations in Bulgaria with a newly established Operations Center in Sofia and currently we are looking for energetic and self-driven person for the position of AP Team Lead.

Mission:
As an AP Team Lead you are responsible for overseeing an Accounts Payable Team, directing the processing of invoices and payments, and managing expense accounts, AP reports, trend analysis and root cause identification. Your job duties involve the processing, maintenance, independent judgement in researching and reconciling discrepancies, reporting and analysis of complex financial records involving financial (AP) accounting, as well as assuring compliance with accounting standards and established policies and procedures. You will be reporting to the P2P Tower Lead.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure the P2P Team understands business requirements and necessities related to on-time and precise handling of invoices in an accurate and efficient manner according to company procedures
• Oversee the financial controls and ensure company policies are followed
• Act as “Go to” person for problem solving within the established stakeholder structure
• Analyze and Identify trends to ensure accurate and on-time handling of incoming invoice volumes
• Identify and perform root cause analysis to oversee trends or issues which enable reaching target KPI’s
• Build-up and update SOP/WI on a regular basis to reflect actual process.
• Identify improvement ideas and lead projects (e.g. automation)
• Coach and lead a team of people in a hybrid environment and grow individual development plans with the support of the Tower Lead
• Act as business partner for the organization and escalate complex issues according to established communication protocol
• Build strong relationship with local team and broader Adecco organization to support the business

Main Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Finance & Accounting, or related field
• Excellent accounting skills
• US GAAP Experience
• Fluent Professional English (written & spoken)
• Effective communication: Communicates clearly, actively listens to others and adapts own style; inspires and influences others
• Organizational Excellence: Takes ownership for excellence through one's personal effectiveness and dedication to the continuous improvement of operations
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and root cause analysis skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Microsoft Dynamics (considered as an advantage)
