Tax Accountant with Spanish or Portuguese

For one of our trusted clients, we are now looking for ambitious and motivated professional to work as an Tax Accountant with Spanish or Portuguese.
On a daily basis you will have to:
• Ensure the general ledger tax accounts are accurate and recorded timely
• Ensure timely VAT and other Indirect tax compliance, filing and reporting for European entities.
• Supports identified issues, queries and needs from tax authorities and ensure timely provision of the requested documents
• Supports internally different departments across the organization (accounting, supply chain, sales etc.) for indirect tax issues
• Documents indirect tax processes and updates the documentation in case of a process change
• Supplies routine advice on indirect tax processes and support continuous improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects
• Ensures compliance with company policies, relevant accounting and tax requirements and internal controls (SOX)
Your profile:
• University degree in Finance or equivalent.
• At least 1 year Accounting or Control experience.
• Advanced knowledge of general accounting and reporting in compliance with GAAP and requirements of regulatory agencies.
• Strong English and Spanish / Portuguese language skills required.
• Strong ERP experience essential, preferably SAP.
• ACCA or equivalent qualification or advanced status is an advantage.
