General engineer
Due to the further need of our trusted client, international organization, we are looking to hire an General engineer for 6 months project.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide technical review services and comments on designs to verify that the Civil, Architectural, Fire/Life Safety, Structure, Mechanical, Electrical, Water, Wastewater, Roads and Grounds, Custodial Services, Refuse Removal, Pest Control, Housing/Billeting, Work Control, and Demolition
- Provide technical assistance tо Department of Public Works in developing plans and projects to include statement of work, engineering calculations, technical research, estimates, market research, letters of justification and technical drawings.
- Provide facility inspection assistance, complete written inspection reports itemizing deficiencies found and provide local technical solutions in order to program and perform repairs
- Maintain project drawing files and records, compile historical data files, electronic correspondence files, permits, and maintain organized electronic file storage while providing continuous improvement of project documents, forms, templates, design drawing formats, and general task process improvements
- Provide technical services to assist engineers with finding materials equivalent to products used in typical construction
- Provide technical assessment and translation services on third party design submittals, product submittals, and construction related permits; to include assisting the Government with the local real estate processes.
Key requirements:
- Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Architectural)
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in facilities engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with multi-national agencies or companies, experience in AutoCAD or other international recognized computer aided drafting software, and experience in facility operation and maintenance.
