Manager Supply Planning – North America’s market


Our trusted client is “Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.”, a global leader in generic medicines, with a fully integrated R&D function, strong operational base, global infrastructure and scale. In Bulgaria, “TEVA” is the largest employer in the pharmaceutical industry with near 1700 employees in the two manufacturing plants (Dupnitsa and Troyan); sales and marketing organization and in a number of global corporate functions based in our country. 

On behalf of the company, we are looking for qualified and motivated candidate to join the Analytics and Reporting team and occupy the role of:

 
Manager Supply Planning – North America’s market

Main responsibilities:

•    Provides Supply Chain support in project management across markets and sites to constantly improve performance and capabilities of the external manufacturing segment in North America
•    Leads and manages interregional processes and support ad hoc requirements from senior management
•    Manages Supply Chain meetings framework in terms of frequency, agenda, participants and action lists. Ensures end-to-end process implementation along continuous progression in building a community
•    Coordinates various initiatives to continuously assess the Supply Chain organization maturity – e.g. capabilities assessments, training needs in the network, skill and capability matrix
•    Identifies opportunities and strategies to improve Supply Chain performance and process in key areas such as responsiveness, cost and on-time delivery – e.g. inventory management, cycle time, campaigning, annual planning etc. 
•    Acts as a Business Process owner for planning system support and governance (e.g. SAP Enterprise, DSC, Atlas, Infor, etc).  Be actively involved in system implementation and/or phase-outs to ensure robust planning processes are kept
•    Provides support in any ad-hoc projects upon need be it in specific site or as a general external manufacturing North America’s process improvemen
•    Continuously assess the business impact within the external manufacturing North America’s organization
 

Main requirements:

•    University degree or equivalent - preferably scientific or business management discipline
•    3+ years Supply Chain experience, ideally APICS certified or similar
•    Good understanding of pharmaceutical business
•    Leader with superior analytical skills, exceptional oral and written communication skills, and can see the “big picture” while still paying attention to detail
•    Possess the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
•    Capable of presenting information to all levels of management with supporting analysis and assumptions
•    Strong ability to influence, must have a high level of personal credibility as a spokesperson for supply management
•    Proven ability to deal with complexity and manage relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders
•    S&OP and supply planning process knowledge and experience
•    Experience with planning, MPS, RCCP software as well as ERPs
•    Ability to utilise technology to improve efficiency and performance including advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
