Senior Accountant

For one of our trusted clients, a global leader in the market research field, we are searching for a Senior Accountant :
Responsibilities:
○ Responsible for the Reconciliation of bank statements against General Ledger (GL), account
receivables / payables transactions and settlements received in the bank, card-processed
transactions to GL and relevant documentation, investigating and resolving discrepancies
○ Reconcile general ledger accounts
○ Responsible for company's purchases, sales and payments
○ Responsible for daily and accurate recording of business transactions into the accounting system
○ Preparation for timely filing of monthly VAT Declarations
○ Preparing and providing reports to local authorities such as NRA, NSI, BNB and others upon request
○ Participating in the monthly and year-end closing process
○ Responsible for the annual corporate income tax submission
Requirements:
○ University degree in Accounting or Finance
○ Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
○ Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
○ Good computer literacy - MS Word, Excel, Outlook
○ Solid knowledge of Bulgarian Tax Legislation
○ Strong work ethic, teamwork, and positive attitude
