Chief accountant
On behalf of our trusted client, we are looking for an experienced:
Chief accountant
Main activities:
• Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to optimize profitability and ensure sustainable growth and manage financial operations.
• Compliance with all regulatory requirements related to accounting records.
• Maintaining accounting books and registers in accordance with the established procedures.
• Consolidation of financial statements of several companies.
• Monthly, quarterly and year-end closings.
• Preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) and others.
• Analysis of financial indicators and providing reliable information about the financial position of the company.
• Planning and controlling costs.
• Ensuring sufficient liquidity for the company.
• Conducting accounting audits.
• Consulting the management on financial issues and proposing solutions.
• Preparing forecasts and analyzes.
• Evaluating investment projects.
• Developing financial development strategies.
• Managing a team of accountants and training new employees.
• Interaction with external auditors.
• Preparation of documentation for tax audits.
• Collaborates with the Finance teams in the subsidiaries and acts as a reliable finance partner to the Senior teams.
Your qualification:
• Higher education in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Chief Accountant position, preferably within the manufacturing and international company.
• Experience in leading a team of accountants.
• Proficiency in English.
• Deep knowledge in the field of financial management, budgeting, financial analysis, investment project evaluation.
• Excellent knowledge of the Accounting Act, the National Accounting Standards (NAS), the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other regulations related to accounting.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems is required.
