Application Test Engineer

For one of our most trusted clients, we are currently looking for an Application Test Engineer to join a dynamic team in developing, testing, and analyzing industrial communication technology, ensuring seamless integration of valve terminals, and supporting various automation systems across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Join a dynamic team shaping the future of industrial communication technology using cutting-edge tools and modern development practices.
• Qualify valve terminals with fieldbus interfaces to ensure seamless integration with automation systems.
• Work on products used across industries such as robotics, packaging, assembly, testing, and process machines.
• Participate in workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing with colleagues worldwide.
• Collaborate in an international, interdisciplinary team to create test plans and analyze communication for automation systems, including PLC controllers, bus interfaces, I/O modules, and intelligent valve terminals with Industrial Ethernet protocols.
• Support the development of intelligent valve terminals by designing and building test setups and strategies.
• Analyze test results and document findings in detailed test reports.
• Assist with customer-specific solutions, competitor analysis, and troubleshooting complaints.
• Conduct technical research, feasibility studies, and develop innovative test solutions.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Automation, or a related field is mandatory.
• Skilled in electronics measurement equipment, electrical measurements, and communication monitoring and logging.
• Practical experience in remote IO systems and PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA, Beckhoff, Rockwell) is preferred.
• Familiarity with EtherCAT, PROFINET, and EtherNet/IP is an advantage.
• Previous experience in Functional Safety is an advantage.
• Fast learner, capable of quickly adapting to new topics and technologies.
• Capable of making decisions, taking responsibility for results, and working effectively as a team player in dynamic, multicultural environments
• Dedicated to delivering added value to internal and external clients.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
