Development Engineer (Electric Motors)

Currently, for one of our trusted clients we are looking for Development Engineer (Electric Motors) to join their team in Sofia.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
•Working in an interdisciplinary team which is responsible for the development of electric motors, actuators and their components under consideration of the related design standards, quality and cost requirements.
•Carrying out development measurements for new projects - motors, actuators, brakes, encoders, etc.
•Development/expansion of Measurement Setups in compliance with the internal requirements, product specifications and good practices.
•Developing automation software in NI LabVIEW and Test Stand for the Measurement Setups.
•Analysing test results in MATLAB or Excel and making reports (Word/PDF) about the tested object(s). Presenting the reports to the relevant Mechanical/Electrical developers and/or project stakeholders.
•Support of the efficient industrialization of the testing concept (hardware and software) in Production.
•Coordination with internal and external development partners.
Technical Competences and Requirements:
•Univeristy Degree in the field of Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics/Automation engineering.
•Experience in Computer programming is mandatory.
•Very good knowledge of MS OFFICE
•Knowledge and professional experience with measurement tools.
•Very good level of English language
•Experience with programmatic control of measurement equipment and control hardware (e.g. PLCs) is considered an advantage.
•Related experience or scientific background in development/measurements of electrical machines (motors, generators or transformers) is a plus
•Experience with LabVIEW, National Instruments Test Stand and MATLAB are considered as an advantage.
•Experience in Production environment will be considered as a plus.
