The unique programme, now in its fifth year, provides opportunities for candidates to step into the shoes of business leaders in 48 countries within the Adecco Group\u2019s global network.<\/h4>\n

Zurich, Switzerland, February 6, 2018: \u00a0Like being given the keys to your dad\u2019s car before even knowing how to drive, the Adecco Group\u2019s \u2018CEO for One Month\u2019 programme is a powerful eye-opener for those who take part. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Applications are now open for young people all over the world to enter the programme to become leaders across 48 countries in the Adecco Group\u2019s global network. After completing their national \u2018CEO for One Month\u2019 assignment, ten of these talented candidates will be selected to attend a rigorous but inspiring boot camp where their collaboration and innovation skills will be tested.\u00a0 Only one will then be selected to work alongside Group CEO, Alain Dehaze, for one month. It is the experience of a lifetime and has a long-lasting impact on the individuals who take part.<\/p>\n

Youth unemployment is a well-documented global phenomenon. Each generation of school leavers and university graduates encounters increasing obstacles to entering the workforce. Over the last few years, the technological advances of the fourth\u00a0industrial revolution have created jobs that require new skills and competencies which are increasingly specific. Against this background, education systems are starting to focus on technical and digital skills, governments are establishing more vocational oriented courses, and companies and organisations are working hard to provide work-based training opportunities like apprenticeships.<\/p>\n

The CEO for One Month programme epitomises the Adecco Group\u2019s aim to provide young people with real-world opportunities and help them thrive through the power of work. As part of our Way to Work programme, the Adecco Group offers a unique opportunity to become first the CEO for One Month in the 48 countries and then the global CEO of the Adecco Group for one month, under the direct supervision of the CEO of the Adecco Group, Alain Dehaze.\u00a0 The selected Global \u2018CEO for One Month\u2019 gets a taste of how to run a multinational company with 33,000 employees and 23 billion euros in revenue. \u2018CEO for One Month\u2019 runs in 48 countries, where the first step is for candidates to apply to become \u2018CEO for One Month\u2019 in their country of residence, before making it to a shortlist of 10 top performers.
