Our client is a leading financial institution in CEE in the Bulgarian Banking sector. On their behalf we are looking for:
Linux System Administrator
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide analysis of system logs and identification of potential issues with the business software and systems
  • Provide analysis of event messages from automatic monitoring systems and identifies potential issues with the business software and systems and related databases
  • Check the successful execution of configured scheduled tasks, jobs and functionalities
  • Ensure adequate corresponding with SLA support when solved incidents and problems, executes requests for change and service requests for: 

           - access and security management - user creation/roles/rights
           - application installations reconfiguration and updates
           - optimization and tuning
           - create or modify DB objects and data
  • Support installation of updates and patches of the business software and systems. Introduce and integrate new releases of business applications.

You are the ideal candidate, if you have:
  • University degree in the IT field — Computer science, Informatics
  • Experience with Linux — RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian
  • Experience with Application servers — Weblogic, WebSphere, Tomcat
  • SQL scripting knowledge and experience with different RDBMS — Oracle, MySQL, DB2
  • Good knowledge of IT concepts — virtualization, storage, networking
  • Experience with tools for monitoring and performance analysis — Zabbix, Grafana, ELK
  • Good command of English (B2) — both written and spoken

The following would be considered big advantage:
  • Experience with Automation tools — Ansible
  • Scripting — Bash, Python
