IT Engineer & Team lead


For one of our trusted clients - a global software company, we are looking for an IT Engineer & Team lead.
As an IT Engineer & Team lead you will be responsible for the execution and enforcement of our client’s internal security policy and you must be able to manage desktop & office environments. You will also take on the responsibility of identity and access management for relevant standard tools and the automation of this task. 
Last, but not least, you will coach and manage your fellow team members from three European countries. 

Duties and responsibilities:
Support employees of the company in their daily use of:
  • Company deployed computers 
  • Deployed applications, like Office365, Slack, Cisco Webex, etc. 
  • Use of printers, fax and copy machines 
  • SPOC for all internal employees 

 Manage the end user hard- & software:
  •    Install and maintain company deployed assets 
  •    Monitor security events on company deployed assets 
  •    Install and maintain company deployed IT devices 
  •    Ensure that the security policy is enforced 
  •    Create, maintain and revoke users and access rights according to company deployed security policy 
  •    Be responsible for the management of networking & internet connection , server for lab environment , security, video surveillance & access control , incident coordination for all Internal IT inquiries 

Experience & qualification you must have:
•    Fluency in English
•    Degree in computer sciences, although your attitude, experience and willingness to learn is more important than your degree.
•    Strong interest in supporting end-users
•    Strong analytical skills and a proactive, flexible approach
•    You strongly believe in documenting and structuring your work 
•    Lead by example
•    People-oriented individual
•    Experience in working & leading remote teams
•    A proven track record in working with ITSM platforms preferably ServiceNow 
•    Good knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Operating systems  (at least MS Windows 7 / 10 and Office 365 etc.) 
•    Microsoft Server Operating Systems, MAC OSX and Linux 
•    MS Azure experience
•    Life cycle management of hardware (mostly laptops), i.e. staging and builds, refreshes and secure wipe (MacBook) 
•    Asset and Stock Management 
•    Experience with mobile device handling, iOS and Android 
•    Knowledge of communication tools VOIP, Slack and Webex 
•    Identity management 
•    Experience with Power Shell 
•    ITIL understanding – (preferably ITIL 3 or 4 foundation certified) 
•    Basic networking knowledge 
•    Basic troubleshooting & patching
