Process Engineer

For one of our trusted clients Sensata Technologies, we are now looking for ambitious and motivated professional to work as Process Engineer
Key responsibilities:
• You will develop new production processes and/or adapt existing production processes for the assembly, calibration, and testing of automotive sensors.
• You will define specifications for production equipment and interact with equipment suppliers to ensure the equipment will meet specifications.
• You will optimize and solve problems in existing production processes.
• You will participate in global NPD project teams to enable the successful launch of new products.
• You will initiate improvement plans for efficiency, capacity, costs, lead time, and quality of production.
• You will keep in contact with other departments on process specifications, quality aspects, product specifications, and continuity of equipment.
Requirements for the position:
• Bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar specialization.
• Experience with process engineering in a high-technology environment.
• Good understanding of principles of Design for Assembly and 6 Sigma tools.
• Good communication skills, written and verbally in English.
• Good social skills to initiate and drive activities in various production sites in other countries.
• Pro-active attitude and clearly capable of setting priorities.
• Project management skills to lead and participate in multidisciplinary, global teams.
• Prepared to travel and work abroad on a regular basis.
