Head of IT Audit

On behalf of one of our clients we are currently looking for Head of IT Audit. The person will have the great opportunity to build their own team.
Duties and responsibilities:
Actively assists the management of the Directorate in assessing the risk and adequacy of the information infrastructure and processes;
Plans audit engagements, including audit procedures and the identification of key control points in the system;
Manages and performs risk-based IT audits in in the company with a main focus on the analysis and evaluation of IT processes, IT infrastructure, IT projects, IT systems, information and cyber security, as well as all related procedures and controls;
Understands, tests and analyzes complex data, systems and processes in order to effectively identify weaknesses and develop reasonable conclusions and recommendations for their improvement;
Prepares the necessary working documentation that supports the performed actions and audit observations;
Maintains professional communication with the auditees at all levels, both technical and non-technical, during each audit or consulting engagement;
Train, develop and support team members.
Requirements:
Higher education in relevant field
Solid knowledge and relevant technical experience in IT infrastructures
Detailed knowledge in the field of information technology and standards for auditing information systems;
Detailed knowledge in the field network communications and architecture of global application systems;
Detailed knowledge in the field of good practices for information technology audit – standards such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO / IEC 20000, ISO / IEC 27001;
Excellent analytical and communication skills;
Very good level of English – both written and spoken;
What is considered a plus but not mandatory:
Active CISA, CISSP or other certificate in the field
Experience in the financial sector and / or cyber security
