Purchasing specialist
For one of our trusted clients – a leading manufacturing company for power and climate solutions, we are currently searching for a Purchasing specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Material master data handling for its plants following phase-out/-in strategy per code and Launch wave sequence,
- Secure release of purchase orders towards factories against Stock build qty per code on current portfolio materials- needs manual attention,
- Close coordination with Factory planner on setting up production allocation for stock build,
- Securing product availability,
- Maintaining daily follow up on open, confirmed, and overdue orders,
- Weekly follow up on stock vs decided stock build, as no freeze of inventory/daily sales allowed,
- Reaching Global logistics target for the defined KPI's, reports and analyses,
- Ensuring close collaboration with Global Order Management and Supply chain.
Requirements:
- University education,
- Experience in a similar role of production planning,
- Excellent knowledge and experience from purchasing and supply chain management,
- Computer skills at advance level (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook),
- Fluent in English language. As the role requires regular communication to different levels, experience from working with English in an international organization is preferred,
- Excellent knowledge of SAP is mandatory,
- Very good communication skills,
- Analytical, proactive, and problem-solving skills,
