Production Director

On behalf of our trusted client, a manufacturing company, we are currently looking for an experienced candidate to occupy the position of:
 
Production Director 

Job Profile:    Organizes, manages, controls and coordinates the whole production process of the company.  

Main responsibilities and direct duties/ obligations

•    Manages, plans, organizes, coordinates and controls the technical and organizational development of the production according to company policies and standards.
•    Organizes and carries out the production planning and controls the adherence to the approved production programs and budget.
•    Implements methodological and administrative management concerning all aspects of the production process of the company. 
•    Finds solutions to current technical and technological issues. 
•    Participates in the development and provides directions to the investment projects and the reconstruction of production installations. 
•    Provides a standpoint when concluding and amending contracts, concerning the production of the company.
•    Takes responsibilities and decisions in respect with the production of the company, when needed coordinates them with the CEO.
•    Give instructions (orally and written orders) according to the law and the active regulatory framework. 
•    Organizes and manages all activities and projects, connected to the optimization of company production processes.
•    Organizes and looks for the correct and timely reporting of the results of the production and the current production parameters.
•    Manages regular team meetings, related to technical and production issues.
•    Manages and approves documents and instructions in respect to the production process.
•    Reviews and approves all technical and technological regulations. 
•    Reviews and approves all work instructions.
•    Reviews and approves all amendments in the regulations, work instructions, technological diagrams and construction documentation of the machines and the appliances. 
•    Reviews and approves the protocols of production stoppage. 
•    Reviews and approves the planned timetable/ timesheets of the production process. 
•    Eliminates flaws in the technological processes, discovers the faulty and resolve the problem. 
•    Presents directions in respect to the production discipline in the company.
•    Participates in the personnel development, recognition and training procedures to maintain its optimal structure and people satisfaction.
•    Facilitate, lead and motivates his/her subordinates in order to increase the quality and efficacy of their work.
•    Reports timely to the management of the company for problems concerning the production. 
•    Executes other assigned tasks connected to the position. 

The successful candidate has the following competences and personal traits:
 
  1. Technical


•    Education – Technical or Chemical University, Master’s degree;
•    Foreign language – excellent written and oral English, B2 level;
•    Computer literacy – work with MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word);  
•    Experience with ERP systems /SAP/ is a priority.

       2. Professional

•    Professional experience – minimum 7 years on a similar management position;
•    Experience in managing people and teams.

      3. Personal

•    Excellent communication skills;

•    Organizational skills;
•    Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
•    Proactive, goal-oriented, loyal, engagement and responsible personality;
