Strategic Engineer (Technical Components)

For one of our most trusted clients, a leader in the aircraft industry, we are looking for a Strategic Engineer (Technical Components). The Engineer will be responsible for deciding on the best repair options from technical and economic point of view, while working closely with Order Management teams.
Main responsibilities:
• Read and understand technical documentation, related to the repair of the components to decide on best repair solution for the current demand
• Collaborate constantly with the order managers to obtain any additional information from the suppliers prior to taking decision
• Cooperate actively with the engineering team in Hamburg to achieve full understanding and compliance with the component’s technical requirements
• Review suppliers’ quotations for repair the components
• Participate in various projects and initiatives, supporting the work process optimization
Requirements:
• University degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or industrial management
• Good level of English (B2/C1)
• Good knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, Power Point
• Result-oriented and analytical personality
• High level of customer orientation
• Interest in technology and eye for detail
