Senior Accountant with Spanish

On behalf of one of our trusted clients - a multinational IT Services and Consultancy company, we are currently looking for a Senior Accountant with Spanish, to become part of a highly ambitious and dynamic team.

Daily tasks:
 
  • Provides accounting and internal control support for reconciling specific Balance Sheet accounts assigned by the supervisor. 
  • Prepares journal entries; maintains and reconciles ledger accounts 
  • Performs account reconciliations in accordance with Accounting Policy 
  • Balances books or accounts and prepares profit/loss, income, and balance sheet statements 
  • Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records
  • Prepares and analyzes financial statements and monthly reports 
  • Assists with audits by providing supporting records and documentation
  • Uses best practices and knowledge of business issues to improve processes. 
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective to identify solutions. 
  • Works independently; receives guidance from a supervisor and able to prioritize tasks with concurrence with the supervisor  

Requirements:
 
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English
  • IFRS experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good Communication skills
  • Working experience in working with ERP is a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel and PowerPoint)
