Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
Our key client is a leading global manufacturer of ball bearings, seals, lubricants, mechatronics and related services. The company has more than 100 factories in 130 locations worldwide. Their products enable rotation - machinery, cars, airplane engines, even household products - anywhere there are parts that rotate, company’s solutions can be found. As the world moves swiftly into an age of digitalization, so does our client. Regarding the building of a core IT Digitalization team in Bulgaria we are looking for an experienced professional for the key role of a Senior Cyber Security Engineer.
You will be part of the Future Factory team tasked to transform and equip our client Manufacturing footprint with digital solutions, skills and knowledge to strengthen World Class Manufacturing for competitive advantage. You will be the trusted advisor that brings cybersecurity engineering and advisory services to our client Manufacturing globally.
Your day-to-day work and responsibilities
- Ensure that we manage, design, and implement security practices, processes, and technologies, thus mitigating the risks arising from the use, process, storage, and transmission of information used in industrial infrastructures and organizations – from a people, process, and technology perspective
- Perform end-to-end network and systems security reviews, identifying vulnerabilities and risks, developing mitigation plans and evaluating security tools and services
- Design cybersecurity engineering and advisory services in four domains: application, data, infrastructure and network
- Manage, design, and implement security practices, processes, and technologies

We expect you to have
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to contribute as a leading member of global, distributed teams focused on delivering quality services and solutions for the global SKF Manufacturing footprint
• MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or similar
• CEH, GIAC, OSCP, GISCP, CISSP, IEC/ISA 62443, ISO 2700x certifications, or similar
• 10+ years overall experience in working various positions within information security, advantageous if with IT/digital transformation projects, and in an international environment
• 5+ years in IT/OT cybersecurity related to the industry’s security best practice
• Hands on implementation experience of current and emerging state-of-the-art IT/OT systems technologies, architectures, and products
• Experience in state-of-the-art IT/OT cybersecurity architectures, hardware, and software implementations for large organizations using either enterprise based and/or cloud-based environments.
• Experience in a wide range of information security technologies, embedded security(PLCs and Data I/O systems) and infrastructure platforms, such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Azure Amazon Web Services, and various Linux Distributions, and network platforms, such as Cisco or Phoenix Contact
• Experience in identifying cybersecurity gaps in IT/OT network and systems designs or implementations, and in recommending mitigation strategies to address the identified gaps
• Experience leading the planning, design, and implementation of cybersecurity controls in IT/OT organizations in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines
• Experience in developing policies, procedures, and recommendations as required for the implementation of IT/OT network and systems cybersecurity and compliance controls
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing
