Network Engineer

For one of our trusted clients - one of the top 5 system integrators and a leading cloud provider in Bulgaria, we are looking for Network Engineer, who will join their team of highly skilled professionals.
Responsibilities:
• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment and services: routers, switches, firewalls
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
• Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
• Communicate with vendors and other IT representatives for problem resolution
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience on similar position
• Very good understanding of IT Infrastructure network layers and components and corporate IT infrastructure;
• Proven hands-on network engineering experience, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
• Experience with projects related to telecoms or security
• Knowledge in administration and support of Fortinet network systems
• Good organizational, communication and troubleshooting skills and experience customer support, on field work, remote support
• Very good written and spoken English
Nice-to-haves:
• Fortinet certificates (NSE4 or higher-NSE5 and/or NSE7 and/or NSE8 )
• Cisco or Nokia certificates
• Knowledge/experience in administration and support of 1 of the network vendors - Juniper or Cisco
• Higher degree in Telecommunications or related field would be an advantage
