Record to Report Accountant with German or English

On behalf of one of our trusted clients - a multinational IT Services and Consulting company, we are currently looking for a Record to Report Accountant with German or English to become part of a highly ambitious and dynamic team.

Purpose of the role:
 
  • Performing specific accounting transactions in connection with client’s business activities. 
  • Providing an effective service on behalf of the company to client’s legal and statutory requirements, agreed company processes and Service Level Agreements. 


Daily tasks:
 
  • Provide accounting and internal control support for reconciling specific Balance Sheet accounts assigned by the supervisor. 
  • Prepares journal entries; maintains and reconciles ledger accounts 
  • Perform account reconciliations in accordance with Accounting Policy 
  • Balances books or accounts and prepares profit/loss, income, and balance sheet statements 
  • Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records
  • Prepares and analyzes financial statements and monthly reports 
  • Assists with audits by providing supporting records and documentation
  • Uses best practices and knowledge of business issues to improve processes. 
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective to identify solutions. 
  • Works independently; receives guidance from a supervisor and able to prioritize tasks with concurrence with the supervisor  

 Requirements:
 
  • 2 years of relevant experience in accounting
  • Great fluency in German or/ and English
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Working experience of an ERP is a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel and PowerPoint)
