Quality Manager
For one of our trusted clients - key producer of construction materials, we are looking for an experienced professional, willing to become a part of an interesting and challenging industry. The successful candidate will be part of a team of proven professionals, with vision to implement the newest technologies in decarbonization in construction industry. We are looking for a highly motivated professional for the position of Quality Manager
Main Responsibilities:
• Directs the review of the quality control results and proceeds to the approval or rejection of the outcome of each production stage
• Responsible for the smooth operation of the chemical laboratory
• Ensures the sample collection from all stages of the production
• Guides the execution of product performance tests to assess the strength of end-product
• Prepares, submits, and upon approval monitors the accurate execution of the annual budget of the quality control department
• Ensuring the availability of financial resources to cover operational needs, the effective control of expenses and the identification of cost saving opportunities
• Provides support to the sales operation for the resolution of any client query regarding the use of the products and provide technical advice, information and support for the product type and use
• Interacts with institutional and national bodies and certification laboratories
• Controls Health & Safety & Environment Procedures
• Develops, coaches and motivates subordinates, ensuring the accurate target setting and performance management
Main Requirements:
• At least 5 years of experience in a quality control position (in Silica technology industry or relevant field)
• University degree in Engineering or Chemistry
• Good knowledge in ISO Quality Management System
• Good knowledge of alternative fuels, (especially for Bulgaria)
• Very good level of English language
• Project management and team leadership skills
