GL Accountant

For one of our trusted clients, we are now looking for ambitious and motivated professionals to work as a General Ledger Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure accuracy of daily accounting transactions
• Responsible for certain aspects of the month-end close process including journal entry preparations (e.g., accruals, prepaid and classification, etc.), balance sheet reconciliations, and analytics
• Intercompany transactions and reconciliations – global
• VAT declarations
• Special projects as requested
Qualifications required:
• Commercial Education Certificate or equivalent with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Finance or similar role
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people (internally and externally)
• Strong proficiency in Word, Outlook and advanced level Excel. Knowledge in NetSuite is an advantage.
• Good English language skills
• Language skills in other European languages an advantage
• Self-motivated, accountable, results driven and detail oriented
• Strong business acumen and a logical problem solver
