Production Supervisor

Our trusted client is “Planova Group” - a European owned manufacturer of shelving systems and shop equipment with an impressive range of accessories. Their most important customers include convenience stores, food outlets and supermarkets, both in Europe, USA and Africa. Company’s product range includes impressive range of Shelving systems, Desk solutions, Tobacco walls, Coffee & hot drink solutions, Cold drink solutions, Cold & Hot “Food to Go” solution, Seating furniture and Category headers & stickers.

For the company’s fast growing production plant in Sofia, we are currently looking for an experienced 

Production Supervisor


The Production Supervisor will take the leading role with the management of installation, education and kick-off on machines and other relevant equipment delivered, to develop the factory in “Planova Bulgaria”. In this respect as well to loyal follow the master plan and guidance the management on special issues related to any technical issues. 

Main responsibilities:

•    Managing operations and admin of the staff in the factory
•    Production planning and coordination for factory in “Planova Bulgaria” and MPS (Master Plan Scheduling) on Group level with Factory Managers and local Sales / Project team.
•    Price calculations
•    Vendor management for deliveries to production
•    Development of new items
•    Documentation and ERP data management in Navision BC365 & NAVEKSA
•    Maintenance of machines and buildings
•    Support machine acquisitions made by executive management
•    Operational responsible for the property management
•    Participate in senior management meetings in Bulgaria and abroad

Main requirements:

•    University degree in Machine engineering or Furniture design. 
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in the production field within wood or metal manufacturing. 
•    Basis ISO and quality management course or 2 years of experience.
•    Management of minimum 10 people in minimum 3 years
•    Fluent in English
•    Strong holistic leader that can manage complex working conditions
•    Supply Chain Management attitude working across a group of companies
•    Profit&Loss / Balance sheet / Variance report management skills
•    Good knowledge on using ERP systems and MS office
•    Solidworks (requirement) / AUTO CAD / 
•    PLC programming (Visual Basic / C++/Python or similar) a benefit
•    Good mathematical understanding like multiple linear programming, probability estimation and regression analysis a benefit
