Compliance Specialist

We are currently looking for a Compliance Specialist to become part of our global team.
This is a new role in our global structure.
Among your responsibilities will be:
• Support the implementation and roll-out of the Integrity & Compliance control framework
• Review findings, Sanctions, Antibribery, Anticompetition, Insider trading, Fraud issues on third parties, and communicate those with other control groups involved in the process
• Analyse third parties’ responses and submitted materials in the process and (Code of Conducts, Conflict of interest, or compliance statements), conduct further research, document compliance risks and request mitigation actions if necessary;
• Escalate or reach out for additional support from the internal or external departments when needed
• Work hand in hand with the Group Integrity & Compliance Office for improvements in the process.
• Become a power user of the various tools provided by Group Integrity & Compliance and Group Legal.
• Support in investigations of alleged misconduct, in particular through the evaluation of financial systems and participation in due diligence reviews of business partners.
• Implementation of compliance surveys, expert opinions and the preparation of certifications.
• Tracking of internal compliance events and online compliance training courses.
• Support in the implementation, evaluation and consolidation of compliance risk assessments.
• Collaboration in the further development of compliance guidelines and processes, as well as ensuring their implementation.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (law, business administration, accounting, finance, economics, political science, criminal justice).
• Previous experience in a similar integrity & compliance role, in an enforcement/ intelligence environment (preferably around 2 years)
• Experience in writing comprehensive memoranda, preparing project and training materials
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) ; any additional language is considered as a further asset.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP-systems; ability to utilize analytical tools and databases.

• High standards of ethical behaviour, integrity , determination and independence
• Hands-on, “can-do” attitude to build up these new services and effectively run them, as a collaborative team player.
• Good networking skills and ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues.
• Ability to handle and manage critical, sensitive and/or complex matters
