Production planner
On behalf of our trusted, leading production company in the field of prosthetics and one of the leading suppliers in orthotics, wheelchairs and exoskeletons, we are looking for motivated and pro-active professional to support the production process and occupy the position of:
Production Planner
Main responsibilities:
• Ensuring the availability of components for in-house production in the factory – on time delivering of missing components and production execution.
• Ensuring that the Production receives qualified orders that have been planned capacitively (man, material, machine).
• Implementation, evaluation and coordination of production planning, capacity levelling and smoothing for the resources allocated in the local plant.
• Creation / evaluation of planning scenarios for the medium and short-term planning horizon.
• Analysis, evaluation, and definition of local disposition parameters for capacity planning and maintenance of the corresponding master data in the underlying systems.
• Finding solutions to planning conflicts.
• Updating and adapting all movement data relevant for capacity planning.
• Monitoring and presentation of capacity restrictions, preparation, and participation in management decisions for capacity expansions.
• Opening and releasing production orders.
• Creation of the capacity and occupancy plans for production equipment / facilities.
• Monitoring of the actual deliveries from production as well as support in finding solutions to eliminate possible incidents in production order processing.
• Ensuring the availability of components for the production process (in close cooperation with purchasing and the production departments).
• Support with cross-departmental projects inside and outside of production.
• Optimization of the production processes from a control point of view (support and implement lean processes, QRQC participation, etc.).
Qualifications:
• University degree – bachelor or master.
• Practical experience 3+ years in production with complex portfolio.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Good command of English language – oral and written.
• Good computer skills - MS Excel.
• Strong communication skills.
