Head of Hardware Development

Currently, for one of our trusted clients we are looking for Head of Hardware Development department in their newly established center in Gabrovo. The company is open for candidates from other locations in Bulgaria and a relocation package is offered.
Among your tasks will be:
•Disciplinary and technical management of the development team for drives hardware development applications
•Oversee the entire hardware development lifecycle, from concept and design to prototyping, testing, and production.
•Product development according to roadmap including requirements management and product architecture
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, mechanical engineering, and product management, purchasing and production to ensure seamless integration and delivery of complete solutions.
•Coordination of product change management for the whole product line
•Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the hardware engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
•Ensuring the necessary development processes (e.g. PDP,) and safety measures for product development and product.
•Planning of budget, investment and further development of employees Profile
Qualification:
•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
•Proven experience in leading and managing hardware development teams, preferably in the field of power electronics in extra low voltage and low voltage range
•In-depth knowledge of electronics design principles, including analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout, and thermal management.
•Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
•Structured analytical thinking
•Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
•Flexible, adaptable
•Capable of making decisions and taking the responsibility for the results in dynamic and changing environment;
