The global leader will run the IT outsourcing business under a new brand
Adecco started operations in Bulgaria as Ajilon Consulting at the end of 2005, partnering with HP on establishing the HP Global Delivery Center in Sofia. Since then, the company grew significantly and quickly become a leader in HR services. In Bulgaria, Adecco focuses on providing complete outsourcing solutions in the fields of Information Technology and Business Support, recruitment services, and temporary workforce solutions.
In 2016 IT Outsourcing has been identified as one of The Adecco Group’s strategic priorities and has been established as a global practice within the group. In alignment with this global strategy, the IT Outsourcing business will now be run under the MODIS brand. General Staffing will remain under the Adecco Bulgaria organization and the IT Outsourcing business will become Modis IT Outsourcing. In Bulgaria the change will be effected by way of a spin-off.

In 2016 the company has strengthened and renewed its partnership with HPE and HP Inc. and has attracted new Multinational companies as customers. There will be over 1200 employees working in the new brand, providing IT Service Desk, Data Center and Network Management and Support, End-User Device Support (Desktop & Mobile), Application Support and BPO Solutions to customers from around the globe.
Modis IT Outsourcing will provide services from a new building located in the area of Business Park Sofia. The company rented 6,200 m2 of office space which is located on 3 floors in the A class building – Kambanite Green Offices. It is consisted of open spaces, meeting rooms, kitchens, bicycle parking, relax area and playroom. Nearly 60% of the employees will move into the new office space by September 2017. The rest of the employees are located in different buildings in Sofia Business Park.
